Why has it taken until January 11, 2012 to learn of an attack on a MAX train that happened on December 26, 2011?
After fight on MAX strikes a chord, officials look closer | Portland AFoot
Why was there never any word of this attack? TriMet clearly knew it happened, but said not a word. We only now knew it happened because the news media got a hold of the story.
TriMet Speaks!
The altercation between teen girls on the MAX Green Line last month was very disturbing.
Our Command Center called for police and once on scene requested train video and connected with the teen.
If you ever see something like this, call 9-1-1 or notify the operator (MAX and WES trains have up to four emergency intercoms).
Tri-Metro?
Will Metro take over Tri-Met? The fact that it's now involved in budget planning for the transit system may just push the answer to that question one baby step closer to yes.
Questions swirl over assault video on MAX train, suspects still sought
On Wednesday, Fetsch said TriMet encountered technical issues with its own “on-board video” of the attack.
Fetsch said that at the time of the incident, the train operator contacted the TriMet Command Center, who then contacted police. The responding officer requested video from the train. However, after being downloaded, the video file could not be opened due to a technical issue.

I have trouble believing TriMet's claim of 'technical issues'. Who's with me?
