TriMet's Transit Tracker Advertising

Downtown, this week, i've noticed something new: those transit tracker signs at downtown bus stops all have, on the right side, a little advertisement from TriMet. The two i've seen the most (maybe the only two) are the 'be seen, be safe' thing like we'll see on buses or an advertisement about TriMet's 'new' 30 day pass.
Now how about instead of advertising their own stuff on the transit tracker boards, TriMet could instead use the space as advertising space and have places pay that want their stuff advertised on the board, similar to how TriMet has advertising on their buses and MAXs? If anything, it could bring some new revenue in--the streetcar does it.
