Previously, McFarlane had served as TriMet’s executive director for capital projects since 1998. In this role, he led the development, design and construction of TriMet’s capital facilities, including the Airport, Interstate, I-205 and Portland Mall MAX extensions, and WES Commuter Rail. From 1991 to 1998, he was TriMet’s project control director for the 18-mile, $963 million Westside light rail project. The church of light rail invites all its followers to its functions where we will celebrate the coming of our lord, light rail, and give thanks to the HOLY CHURCH OF LIGHT RAIL, and its high priest, NEIL MAC(the knife)FARLANE.
And we're going to give them a teensy bit more service to prove it.
Pretty funny that they made a news release just for line 84. Sort of like a desperate plea from TriMet to keep Boring in their service area.
Just see for yourself. TriMet has wasted a whole bunch of money on TWO fancy bridge cameras and now we are so privileged to be able to watch a monthly, weekly, or daily time-lapse OR the very exciting live video feed from each of the cameras.
Oh the fun!
However, maybe if TriMet would use part of the $69 it receives from every $175 fine for not paying the fare to instead repair the ticket machines, there would be fewer people riding without paying. It's pretty hard to buy a ticket if the machines don't work.

***** So, TriMet is cracking down ... again? Here's what happens:
1. Cheater is ticketed and given a court date.
2. Cheater ignores the court date.
3. A warrant is issued for the cheater.
4. Cheater is located, taken into custody and, because of overcrowding, cheater is released with another ticket.
Look at those smart people. We'd never see anybody at TriMet doing something like that....or would we? How about it, TriMet? You go out an do what these transit executives did.
