Reminding you how crappy TriMet's bus service has become!

From a TriMet Email Update:
On Monday, July 4, all bus lines will be running on Sunday schedules for the Independence Day holiday. Several lines do not have service on Sundays, so be sure to plan your trip accordingly.

Translation:
On Monday, July 4, all bus lines will be running on Sunday schedules for the Independence Day holiday. Since we don't give a damn about the buses and we don't even know why we're sending out this alert,  we're going to remind you how so many of your bus lines won't be running that Monday, so don't bother even trying to ride the bus that day.

Meanwhile, at the New Mexico nuke crisis...

The wildfire that's burning its way toward the Los Alamos Nuclear Lab in New Mexico is growing rapidly. And the more you look at the nuclear waste that's piled up at that facility, the scarier the fire becomes. Today the federal bomb-makers confirmed what anti-nuke activists have been saying for a few days now -- that there are tens of thousands of drums of nuclear waste sitting out in the open, essentially under a tarp.

Great.

Scanners

In erroneously citing both NIST and the Johns Hopkins school of medicine to claim that the body scanners are safe, the TSA has also deliberately misled the public on the dangers posed by the devices.

People of Public Transit
God I hate people like that who think they are the center of everything and treat public workers--mainly bus drivers--like shit.

New Honored Citizen ID Requirements begin July 1

Who could this be?

How could TriMet's buses be?

Well, they could be like this. But we all know that'll never happen....Unless the sky falls, that is.

Commit to Safety!

Oh don't we love our MAX....

Here is one of the reasons I avoid riding the MAX if possible--weird people.

Remember this?
