Bless their hearts

It really makes you smile when you hear things like this. Maybe there is hope for the human race to not become so self centered...

MAX FAQS

TriMet is obsessed with their Washington Park Shuttle

Here's what they wrote on the email update:
From May 28 through Labor Day (September 5), the shuttle will run daily, about every 25 minutes from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m.

(thanks for reminding us about it AGAIN.)
THEN they linked to this again.
That was, what, the 5th or 6th email update they have sent out about this stinkin' shuttle?!

TriMet is so proud about that black hole money waster (even worse since it runs with the 63, essentially going to most of the same places), it is absurd.
They market it as a tourist line, essentially. I think this shuttle should just be scrapped; just like the Mall Max shuttle which is being scrapped on June 5th.
But then what they do it chew away at other bus lines that people actually USE and NEED! Lines that people depend on to get them where they need to go! That is simply unacceptable.
A very simple change here would be to make the 63 and the Washington Park Shuttle one line, not two. Then you might be able to get more than 3 riders on the shuttle per day.
TriMet, something needs to change.
