I'm asking once again for a clarification.

TriMet bus stops have two designations. They are the Stop ID and the stop location.

Example: Stop ID 2619 and/or SE Hawthorne & 32nd

If you were to visit the TransitTracker (http://trimet.org/arrivals/tracker.ht...) or the stop information website (http://trimet.org/go/cgi-bin/cstops.p...) the Stop ID has prominence. If you were to visit the Interactive System Map (http://ride.trimet.org/?zoom=6&pLat=6...) or look at a sign posted at the stop the "stop location" has prominence.

David Sale really needs to give it a rest. The chances of Sandi actually being hired by anybody to drive commercially are little to none.

How to get a new bus

In 4 easy steps!
Or just find some convieniently placed nails in the street where your bus is going down and run over them, shredding the tire/s of the bus so the bus has to get towed away and you get a new bus!

TriMet Considers Art Along Milwaukie MAX

"I personally hate the bridge," he admitted. "But we weren't (telling the artists) to cover up the bridge or make the bridge go away."
"I guess I just don't understand people who say, 'Make the bridge go away,'" said Gary Michael, a Milwaukie architect and artist also on the committee. "You can't make infrastructure go away."
This is my favorite part of the article.
TriMet considers art along Milwaukie MAX? There  is really the nerve to say considers? TriMet aint considering anything. They're going to put art along PMLR whether anybody likes it or not--they always do.

Two Months Later, Truth is Told at Fukushima

It's easy to blame Tokyo Electric and the Japanese regulators, but don't forget who built these plants: General Electric, as American as Mom and apple pie. There are dozens of them with the same design still operating in the United States. The federal government is routinely extending their permits beyond their design lives. Wonder how they'd hold up in, oh I don't know, a tornado.

I question the information source....these don't sound accurate to me.

Compulsory Union Membership? No Such Thing.

Is YOUR union full of crooks, liars and incompetents? Are YOUR best interests not represented by your Local, National or International union? Have you been threatened with censorhip, censure, fines or discipline for violating "union rules"? Is your union Board of Directors a virtual kangaroo court stacked with old-time insiders who squash dissent within the ranks? Want to feel free to speak your mind about your representative union's shortcomings without fear of being penalized for doing so?

Then QUIT.

County and state link Aloha, TV highway studies

The MAX line avoids much of the heavily traveled TV Highway corridor, and more upscale housing and business development moved north. Though TriMet Bus Line 57 down the highway is heavily used, deficiencies in pedestrian and bicycle facilities have left access to transit difficult, if not downright unsafe.

Examining the Firmware of War

When we say “John is a patriot,” we mean “John is a reliable member of our dog pack,” nothing more. The pack instinct seems more ancient, and certainly stronger, than morality or any form of human decency. Thus, once the pack—citizenry, I meant to say—have been properly roused to a pitch of patriotism, they will, under cover of the most diaphanous pretexts, rape Nanking, bomb Hiroshima, kill the Jews or, if they are Jews, Palestinians. We are animals of the pack. We don’t admire patriotism. We admire loyalty to ourselves.

Joplin and Tuscaloose Lie in Ruins; But the Edifice of Denial Still Stands. Our Circumstances Call for Massive, Non-Violent EVOLUTION

None of this should be any surprise, of course. The failure of governance is systemic and apparently terminal. The BP Gulf Ecocide came and did not go, but Beltwayistan and Infotainmentstan have not changed their self-deceiving consensus on deep sea drilling. Fukushima came and did not go, but Beltwayistan and Infotainmentstan have not changed their self-deceiving consensus on nuclear power plant safety.

my only wonder is that now that she has it back, how will or can she use it? The chances of her doing something where she needs her CDL are very slim considering the severity of the collision last spring.
