Sunset Transit Center's 'Bike and Ride' is a lonely cage

In its dash for federal stimulus money, couldn't TriMet have found another use for $275,000? The transit system is showing plenty of cracks. What about the hundreds of bus stops without sidewalks?
Oregon Live
That bike and ride is a waste of money. TriMet never should have made one as big as they did. People hardly use it. Now once the bike and ride out at Beaverton Transit Center opens, people will probably be more inclined to use that one rather than the Sunset Transit Center bike and ride.
I'm sure that money could've been put to better use if TriMet had the mind for it.
Not that i'm against secure bike parking--i like having the option--but this one at Sunset Transit Center is a joke.

Never an end to weird happenings on TriMet...
