Another brilliant idea

A Costco at the Rose Quarter? | BoJack
Great, so yeah, add to the congestion there and add a frekin Costco, as if it wasn't already way too packed there in the first place.
And then they can go later complain about how much worse traffic has become there completely ignoring their idiotic decision to add a Costco there and  promptly blame it on something fully unrelated.
That's Portland for ya!

Read this.
Nearly TWICE legal limit? And DRIVING A UNION CAR?
No, I am not joking:
"The head of the union representing TriMet bus drivers and train operators was driving with a blood alcohol content of .14 percent, nearly twice the legal limit, when he was arrested last week, authorities said today."
"...Hunt was driving a 2003 Ford car registered to the ATU 757 when he was arrested on Dec. 26."

What Next? Neil McFarlane caught with a DUI as well? Boy, that'd be an interesting story to read...
Geez, things are just getting more and more screwed up. I wonder how this will affect the Union's battle with TriMet about the contract and health care benefits?

TriMet union President Arrested | Katu
"...The report says Hunt was stopped at a red light in Gresham when an officer, reportedly responding to another call, pulled up behind him.

However, when the light turned green, Hunt's car didn't move. The officer walked up to the car, and reported finding Hunt asleep at the wheel.

Hunt told The Oregonian Saturday night that he made a mistake, and he pledges to continue to work hard for the union."

Not the greatest timing there, Jonathan Hunt. You are supposed to be pusing for TriMet's employee's health care benefits, not getting arrested.
Well, we can only hope this doesn't ruin his credibility or anything badly.
