"ATU Activist,  I am sad to report The TriMet board refused to take action yesterday that would have sent TriMet and the Union back to the bargaining table. For a real opportunity to solve this mess.
 
We want to be very clear: Lynn Lehrbach did the right thing! Lynn put forward a motion for the board to direct TriMet to rescind their proposed action, of passing on insurance increases to our retirees, full and part time employees. No other Board member would even offer a second. Tiffany Sweitzer walked out of the meeting."
